Brian S. Bentley is a former LAPD Officer who spent the majority of his 10 year career working in South Central. Now he is a journalist, outspoken critic of the LAPD and is the author of One Time: The Story of a South Central Los Angeles Police Officer. In this explosive podcast we discuss his insider knowledge as it relates to the Rodney King incident, L.A. Riots, O.J. Simpson trial, Notorious BIG murder and overt racism within the LAPD.

We also discuss Suge Knights unusual amount of influence within the LAPD. Brian also comments on his thoughts regarding the Christopher Dorner rampage. This was maybe the most interesting conversation that I have ever had (so interesting that I ran 45 minutes long!) and I hope you enjoy it!

Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld has made over 26,000 skydives and has led 4 and 8 person formation skydiving teams to six world championships. He is a member of the 2014 Skydiving Hall of Fame class. And he did this after surviving a horrific plane crash in which he broke his neck and was in a coma for 6 weeks.

He authored his story in the book Above All Else and is currently a much sought after motivational speaker. In this podcast we discuss how the plane crash, which killed 16 of the 22 people aboard, affected him and his mindset. We also discuss what it takes to be a world champion.

Ryan Ferguson spent 10 years in prison for a murder that he did not commit. During that time he devoted himself to becoming Stronger, Faster, Smarter and even wrote a book by the same name. He is the focus of the recently released Dream/Killer documentary, which details his case. In addition to that, now as a vindicated and free man he spends much of his time talking about gaps in the justice system that cause wrongful convictions and what really happens in the fallout of overturned convictions.

In this podcast we discuss gaps in the legal system, what steps can be made to improve the system, how wrongful convictions re-victimize families and how he handled his time in prison. We also discuss the new focus being brought to wrongful convictions be the Steven Avery case from the Making a Murderer docuseries.
